History
The Caggiano family has a long history with precious metals and coin collections. In 1989, Michael Caggiano turned his interest into an avocation and began helping friends and colleagues sell gold and silver pieces they had inherited, and he quickly learned how much time and effort it takes for people to do the research and find the right buyer — and thus United Coin & Jewelry was born. Michael felt it was his duty to demystify the market, the supply chain, and the process for his clients. His belief in full transparency, as well as maximum return for sellers, has won UCJ loyal clients again and again.
United Coin & Jewelry opened its doors in 1998 as StoneHaven, LLC as a precious metal buyer and broker for individuals and estates. Since then, they've facilitated the successful resale of hundreds of thousands of dollars in unwanted or unused coins, watches, estate jewelry, heirloom silver service pieces, and contemporary gold and silver jewelry. The name changed in 2019 to more fully represent the breadth of current operations. With the growing emphasis on reducing stressors on our environmental resources, there’s never been a more important time for reselling and recycling precious metals.
